Unhappy with the sonic quality of the two existing mixes, Crimson returned to the musical drawing board and reworked the track using parts from both mixes in early 2010.

The track had originally been titled "Sick" and the new mix was given the name "Sick Again".

Crimson describes the track as having a "sickly sound" reminiscent of the title. In an unusual move, Crimson hasn't included any of his distinctive black metal vocal stylings or guitars, claiming "this one is purely for the DJs!"[verkleinern]
